The wish that made me cry....

Here's the wish that made me cry... Just because I wished the same thing when I made the FIRST figo.... (even tho Diego is not autistic, he couldn't talk).... my heart goes out to this mom and I wish the same for her too!!

I wish... my son would start recovering from his autism and start speaking so that he can say " I love you mommy"

I Wish.....

These are the wishes from the huge Figo at Plush on Main in November.  I wish they ALL come true..... wonderful people!! Thank you so much Brigitte for all your hard work.  ENJOY......

I wish... I'll get the inspiration I need to decide what I want to be when I grow up

I wish... Pluto was still a planet.  Poor Pluto

I wish... everyone would work harder to see situations from the perspective of other people

I wish... For world peace and happiness

I wish... I could fly

I wish... I will be an awesome baker one day and own my own cozy bakery

I wish... money didn't matter

I wish... My best friend and I could have unicorns to ride

Chronos.....It is part of a series that I just started called Intuitive Mythology.... it represents how I see Time.  We grow inevitably, we evolve, we become older, our children get older, our parents aging, all of these things slowly turning like a very complex and slow giant full of experiences of all sorts, that creates paths every single second.... that we may forget or we might remember...... and the answer is always "The Time is Now"....
I just discovered this as I was finishing the piece, that's actually how I name all my pieces, I try to understand what they mean when I am finished, as all of them are a stream of my subconscious, I don't edit until the very end.  Then I find that my understanding of the piece is a universal idea, belongs to everyone, not me, hence Mythology.

Cool comment from a new friend in Romania

" I love your toys! When I saw the for the first time, I almost felt like a long gone missing child in a toystore... with one thought and desire: I want that one to be my friend! ;)"

Grigore Madalin

I love it when somebody just nails it.  This is what my stuff is about.
Thanks so much Grigore!

Little Works and an altered monkey............

Yes, we survived the first week of school!!! Here's some little works (6" x 6" on paper, $12 each, FREE shipping) that I had a BLAST making, check them out:

I have a friend that once had a pet bull.  YES, it is TRUE and he lives in Spain.  He rescued the bull from certain death and Correton followed him EVERYWHERE.

"Big flower, little flower"
I drew this the other day when the kids went back to school.  Triana started high school and I remembered how little she was (not so long ago).

"Lots a cats"
Who has 2 cats and is standing on a bunch of letters?

I drew this without a plan to make a "mirrored" image, I really liked it, super fun, but my fav is the unexpected lil guy in the corner.

I started this drawing in June when we were in Portland and I had lost it.  I'm happy with the outcome... cool!!

"Altered Monkey"
This is my first of many more.  I am going to FIX stuffies.  I bought this one at Winners and I altered it, super fun!!! He has a pocket for another monkey.

11" x 17" mixed media on paper
Made this boy at a workshop at Arts Umbrella last week, I had so much fun!!
